Bae began a rehab assignment with the Indianapolis Indians, the minor league Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, on Feb. 2 (KST).
According to Major League Baseball rules, Bae’s rehabilitation period is a maximum of 20 days, although the severity of the injury varies.
Therefore, Bae’s rehabilitation period will end on the 21st. That means he’ll be back in the big leagues around the 22nd.
Of course, he could return before that depending on the team’s situation.
Bae felt pain in his left ankle during a home game against the Milwaukee Brewers on July 2 and was placed on the 3-day disabled list.
After a slow recovery from the injury, Bae began a rehabilitation game about a month after being placed on the disabled list.
Typically, players return after only a few games, but Bae is reportedly playing as many games as he can in order to play multiple positions.스포츠토토
