“We wasted too many chances against South Korea”, says Mancini

Saudi Arabia national soccer team coach Roberto Mancini has expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance following their loss to South Korea.

Mancini’s side lost 0-1 to South Korea at St. James’ Park in Newcastle, England, at 1:30 a.m. ET on Nov. 13. The Saudis were unable to recover from a first-half concession to South Korean goalkeeper Cho Kyu-sung.

Saudi Arabia have now lost both of their A matches under Mancini. In their previous match against the Costa Rican national soccer team, they fell by an even larger margin of 1-3. This is a very unsatisfactory result for Mancini, who took over as the highest-paid coach in the world in Saudi Arabia.

“I’m not happy to lose the game, but we have a lot of work to do,” Mancini told Saudi Arabian outlet Al Arabiya, “We only trained five times and wasted a lot of chances against South Korea.”메이저놀이터

However, he is determined to build a better team in the future. “I’m happy to be in charge of Saudi Arabia and I’m sure we will do well in the future,” Mancini said. We need to improve. We have to improve and we will try to select new players in future matches.”

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia will face a series of African giants, including Nigeria and Mali, in a two-match series in October.
